Meadow's Edge Elementary School has received an A rating from the Indiana Department of Education.

Our school hours are 7:55 a.m. to 2:20 p.m.  Our cafeteria staff serves a warm lunch daily for a cost of $1.90.  We do not require uniforms for our students but ask that they dress appropriately for school so they can learn.

Meadow's Edge one of top three Title 1 schools in Indiana

Penn-Harris-Madison’s Meadow’s Edge Elementary School (K-5) was recently recognized by the Indiana Department of Education as being one of the top three Title I schools in Indiana for exceptional progress and student performance. There are nearly 900 pre-K through eighth grade Title I schools in the state. The IDOE used student performance on ISTEP+, an interview with the school’s principal, Jayson Snyder, and a school site visit to make the determination. More than 80 percent of Meadow’s Edge students passed math and English/language arts in ISTEP in 2013.

Kindergarten registration opens on January 21

Registration for kindergarten for the 2014-2015 school year begins Tuesday, January 21. A parent or guardian can register a child at the elementary school he or she will attend and all elementary schools offer full-day kindergarten. Elementary school offices at Bittersweet, Elm Road, Horizon, Madison, Mary Frank, Meadow’s Edge, Northpoint, Prairie Vista and Walt Disney are open between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and at Moran and Elsie Rogers the offices are open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. 

Meadow's Edge identified as a Reward School by IDOE

Meadow's Edge has been identified as a Reward School by the Indiana Department of Education (IDOE). Only 31 schools throughout the state received this honor. Reward Schools are Title I schools that show high growth or high achievement. Reward Schools will receive a plaque to recognize the designation. In addition, the State Board of Education may invite schools to present a Spotlight on Learning during one of its monthly meetings. Congratulations to students, parents and staff on this wonderful accomplishment. 

Meadow's Edge rated A by Indiana Department of Education

Meadow's Edge has been rated an A school by the Indiana Department of Education. This grade reflects Meadow's Edge's most recent academic performance and is calculated based on data collected throughout each school year. The grade takes into account a variety of factors including student performance and student growth.
