Bittersweet 4th graders became scientists by dissecting owl pellets this morning🦉. Pellets are the indigestible bones and fur from an owl’s meal (not poop, they do not smell) - By pulling them apart, students discovered what the owl ate and learned about its prey in the process. Hands-on science at its best! #PHMExcellence

2nd grade students at Northpoint are studying the lifecycle of butterflies. As of this morning, they had one caterpillar left, about a dozen have already formed a chrysalis, and one has already transformed into a butterfly! We’ll share an update when more spread their wings and are released into nature 🦋🦋🦋. Great job, Northpoint! #PHMExcellence
