Academics

Academic Programs:

Meadow’s Edge Elementary serves students from kindergarten through fifth grade.  We offer a full-day kindergarten program.  School-wide enrichment, remediation, and programs for students with disabilities are available along with speech/hearing/language development programs.  Instruction is differentiated in all grade levels.  Focused Instruction is also implemented school-wide.  This is a process of teaching that targets academic skills students need to master.  Meadow’s Edge practices positive school-wide behavior using the framework of lifelong guidelines and life skills.  Family participation and support is valued.  Family Resource Specialists are available to assist families in a variety of ways to ensure student success in the school environment.

How We Rate:

”A” rated School District
Meadow’s Edge is one of Penn-Harris-Madison School Corporation’s 11 elementary schools. P-H-M has consistently received an “A” rating from the Indiana Department of Education since 2011.

The IDOE’S Graduates Prepared to Succeed Dashboard provides student-focused data to empower Indiana’s educators & families with information on how we are preparing our students for college and career success. Click here to view Meadow’s Edge Student Performance Report.

LEA Annual Report Cards:

Beginning with 2017-2018 data, the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) requires each local educational agency (LEA) that receives Title I assistance to prepare and disseminate an annual LEA report card. An LEA report card must be concise and presented in an understandable and uniform format for parents.

For State Accountability purposes, the State Board has placed all schools into the “No Grade” category for the 2022-2023 school year. Therefore, a state report card for 2022-2023 is not available.

Meadow’s Edge Federal Rating from the 2018-2019 school year was Meets Expectations.

Honors and Achievements:

Meadow’s Edge has also earned the distinction of being among Indiana’s Top 30% of Public Elementary Schools by U.S. News & World Report (data is based on the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 school years). Click here to learn more.
